On February 24, 2022, Russian troops invaded the territory of Ukraine. Without warning. The so-called “special operation”. Kharkov, Kyiv, Mariupol and other cities were shelled. The population had to be evacuated to the western regions of the country, as well as abroad. Many settlements were subjected to severe occupation. In March, Russian troops occupied the city of Slavutich, Kiev region, where our ward orphanage with 15 children and caregivers is located. For a week they were without electricity, heating, water and with limited food. Most of the children got sick from the cold. Today, thanks to the ZSU, the enemy was pushed back and it became possible to deliver the necessary things, and most importantly, food and medicine to them. Our charitable foundation has purchased everything necessary for all children. This time, our Italian friends also helped us, wishing our children a speedy recovery. On behalf of the Foundation, we express our sincere gratitude to the Italian side for their kindness and sympathy.
